Kelowna Community Food Bank Needs Baby Formula...Please Help!

Today I met with Lenetta Thoradson the Associate Executive Director for the Kelowna Community Food Bank. She was kind enough to give me an in depth tour of the facility and let me tell you I was extremely impressed and overwhelmed all at once!  The need for food and essentials is great in our city and more-so than many of us even realize.  I have to admit I was very moved to see the volunteers giving of their time to sort and distribute the inbound/outbound food donations.

There is one item in particular that Lenetta mentioned which is in great demand and that is baby formula!  There are two types of formula that the Kelowna Food Bank typically gives to nursing mothers, "Good Start" and "Similac".  I have included photos below in case you want to pick some up and donate it to their 1265 Ellis Street location.  No child should ever have to go hungry especially when it comes to babies.  Please give if you can today!
